Solea Water–Shoes +Water, formerly Shoeman Water Projects: Solea Water turns used shoes into water by exporting them to developing countries like Kenya, Haiti, and South America, and using the proceeds to provide water well drilling rigs, jobs, affordable shoes and water purification systems in Kenya, Haiti and other Latin American nations. Hope for Caribbean Kids, Inc. has partnered with Solea Water to collect used shoes to help generate funding for the proposed elementary school building project.
